Pena: Murder: mandatory life imprisonment (minimum 15 years). Manslaughter: up to life.
The UK does not have a specific 'femicide' offence. The Femicide Census (Karen Ingala Smith) documents all UK women killed by men. The Domestic Abuse Act 2021 created a new offence of non-fatal strangulation.
